1. Information we collect

Information you give us - Name and email address when you sign up for a free program, submit a form, or contact us - Phone number, if you choose to provide it - Feedback and survey responses - Ticket and order details when you register for a class or event through Eventbrite - Purchase details when you buy from our site. Card information is handled by our payment processors and ticketing partners; we don’t store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically - Device and usage information, such as browser type, pages visited, and actions taken on our site and event pages, collected through cookies, pixels, and similar tools

Live class information - Your display name, chat messages, and, if you choose to turn your camera on, your video, which only the instructor and any co-host can see

2. How we use your information

• To deliver free programs, classes, replays, and purchases

• To send emails about your program or class, plus occasional updates and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time)

• To measure and improve our website, programs, and ads

• To show relevant ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, including to people who have visited our site or event pages (retargeting) and to people similar to our audience (lookalike audiences)

• To respond to questions and provide support

• To comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies, pixels, and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel, on our website and on our Eventbrite event pages. On Eventbrite, we may also use server-side tracking (Meta Conversions API), which sends information about actions such as starting checkout or buying a ticket directly to Meta. This helps us measure ticket sales and show relevant ads.

You can limit this by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings, using your device’s ad settings, or changing your ad preferences in your Meta account.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: - With service providers who help us run our business, such as Wix (website, forms, and email), Eventbrite (ticketing), Zoom (live classes), YouTube (video hosting), Google (email and analytics), ManyChat (Instagram messaging), and payment processors - With advertising platforms such as Meta, to measure and show our ads as described above - When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others - In connection with a sale or reorganization of our business

5. Recordings

Live classes may be recorded. Replays show only the instructor. Replays are shared with ticket holders for a limited time and then removed or made private.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business and legal purposes, such as tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices and rights”).

7. Your choices and rights

• Emails: unsubscribe using the link in any email, or email us.

• Access, correction, and deletion: email info@beatupthesun.com to request a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it.

• California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request access, correction, or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. Using advertising pixels for retargeting may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, email info@beatupthesun.com with the subject “Do Not Share.” We also honor Global Privacy Control signals where technically possible.

• We’ll respond to requests within the time required by law and may need to verify your identity first.

8. Children

Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Security
